The encore that ate the bitrate
Live metrics briefing and board · entertainment stream · May
A Friday concert stream had held picture through two support acts and then softened in the encore while audience share rose. The room blamed the encoder, then the venue wifi. In the Pekini Street sitting we lined concurrent viewers against outbound bitrate on one sheet and cue-times against packet loss on the other. The drop sat on the same minute the lighting gallery struck a second follow-spot circuit, not on a chat spike. The after-note asked for a load figure from that circuit, which the venue had never given the truck. The board went up beside talkback the next week. The following show still dipped, but the gallery knew which breaker to watch.
Door scans that would not match the bowl
Board commission after a stream health review · arena · winter
An arena wanted a wall sheet for a Saturday bowl stream. Their log mixed turnstile counts, app check-ins, and a merchandise till. Mariam’s letter sent the till back and asked for a single door figure with a clock. Two days later the clean log arrived. The board showed occupancy against throughput only. Headcount lagged scans by eleven minutes at doors 3 and 4, which the steward team already suspected and had not put on paper. The sheet is ugly on purpose: a stepped line and one rust circle. They have not asked us to add the till.
